
Dr J.S. Keshminder holds a PhD in economics from the University of Malaya Malaysia and is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). His specific research areas include the circular economy, resource efficiency, and social inclusion of the green economy, particularly the complexity of the human-environment relationship. His research on eco-innovation, green Sukuk, waste management, and pro-environmental behaviour has been published in reputable indexed journals. The journals are Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment, Qualitative Research in Financial Markets, and Asian-Pacific Economic Literature. To his credit, he has authored books on business analytics, data visualisation, and the compilation of case studies, which are an integral part of the faculty’s academic curriculum. In addition, he frequently appears in local newspapers and media to share his research findings and provide insights on economic issues, especially on the gig economy, ex-offenders employability and the economic dimension of urban farming.
